After the Mortal Kombat tournament, Sonya Blade's commanding officers received an emergency distress signal from her. Major Jackson Briggs (Jax) is also a member of the elite military unit that Sonya serves. He has been ordered to find Lt. Blade and capture the elusive Kano, wanted criminal and leader of the Black Dragon organization. Sonya's trail leads him into the forsaken Outworld.
